Charlottesville Home Builder’s Economic Forecast
The fourth annual Blue Ridge Area Home Builders Association’s annual economic forecast dinner featured Dr. David Crowe, chief economist of the National Association of Home Builders Association, speaking and answering questions of approximately 100 local industry leaders. Dr. Crowe’s presentation recapped what happened in the housing industry in this past year as well as presented his predictions for 2012.
Dr. Crowe “shared with us his projection for slow growth, but growth nonetheless in the new home building industry,” said John Kerber owner of the Dominion Development Company and President of the Blue Ridge Home Builders Association. “People always want to buy new, whether it’s a new car, a new iPad or a new home.”
